FAQs

Does Virtual Learning UK mean that learning will take place virtually?

No, all lessons are delivered in person by a tutor. Only additional Maths and English lessons will be delivered virtually.

How much home study will be needed on the course?

We expect approximately two hours of independent study each week (homework).

How much work experience is done throughout the course?

There is a work experience unit within the course that will allow for this.

What kit will I need?

All learners will be required to wear the Clitheroe Football College Training Kit. This is available to purchase via our website.

Match day kit will be supplied by Clitheroe Football College, but it is the responsibility of the student to ensure the kit is washed and presentable ahead of all fixture

Will I be provided with a laptop to complete any home study?

Students who do not have access to a laptop at home will be able to lend a laptop from us to complete their work. Students will be required to sign a Device Loan Agreement before taking them out.

After completing my Extended Diploma would I be able to progress to a university course in a completely separate subject?

This would depend on the entry requirements of the course you intended to study. For example, some university courses ask for an A level in biology to study, in this case you would not be able to progress. If a course simply requires a certain number of UCAS points then you will be able to progress to that course.

How do I sign up to Clitheroe Football College?

If you are interested in enrolling at Clitheroe Football College, get in touch via the contact page to find out more. You will then be invited to an informal interview. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions about the college and see if the course is right for you. Following interview, we will then issue learners with a conditional offer letter.
